First and foremost the humble zine is a great way to promote anything at all in the form of a pamphlet. Whether it’s fan art, protest, comic book, doodles or something you’re passionate about the most important thing is that anyone can do it! \u003cbr\u003eIt’s guerrilla art at its best with endless printing possibilities. Breaking the ‘canvas’ down into tiny little folded chunks really frees the mind and is a massive confidence boost. It’s also an explosion of creativity feeding wonderful new ways to look at the world. \u003cbr\u003eThis course experiments with mark making in all forms, using recycled and interesting materials. It looks at colour, pattern, typography, formatting and digitisation. She started her own business Rosie and Ramona in 2019 when she had her first daughter and wanted to combine her two dreams, be a stay at home mum and sell her art! (She's since had another daughter, both of which make significantly better art than her.)\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStarting out as a wedding sign writer and then negotiating a plague she has since diversified taking her vibrant illustrations down every single available avenue. Established by artists in 1986, we are a registered charity, supported by Arts Council England. Our programme offers the largest number and broadest range of printmaking courses in the region, with courses suitable for beginners as well as experienced printmakers, delivered by practicing artists and nationally renowned tutors.
